Youth Concerts
School-day orchestral performances well-suited for all, regardless of age or familiarity with classical music.
Each year, thousands of students, teachers, and families come to Boettcher Concert Hall for this captivating, immersive concert experience. Forever committed to delivering unforgettable live symphonic experiences, the concerts feature local collaborators from varying genres and disciplines to reshape what you can expect from a symphonic performance. Using a guiding theme, the concerts explore the connection between people, places, and ideas through classical music and beyond.
We are proud to offer a cross-curricular unit plan for teachers and students to use prior to the concert, aligned with the Colorado Department of Education’s State Standards.
2026/27 Youth Concerts
SAVE THE DATE: Registration for Youth Concerts begins Friday, July 31.
Next season’s Youth Concert series, Emotional Modulations, explores how music expresses real, shifting emotions – sometimes obvious, sometimes subtle. In collaboration with Opera Colorado, Colorado Ballet and CPR’s, Kabin Thomas as host, we will explore the way we feel inside: from restless to relief, tension to calm, sadness to hope, and how music and human emotions are intertwined.
