The Colorado Symphony Ball 2014
From Bach… to Rock! THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS
The Colorado Symphony Ball 2014 promises to be bigger and better than the sold-out 2013 event. “From Bach... to Rock! THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS” will return to Denver’s rock palace, The Fillmore Auditorium, on Saturday, April 5 at 6:00pm for an unforgettable evening featuring the Colorado Symphony in an encore performance with the Moderators, as well as new musical guests the DaVita Blues All-Stars. The Colorado Symphony Ball 2014 is chaired by Kent Thiry and Denise O’Leary.
Each year, the Colorado Symphony Ball welcomes more than 1,000 individuals, government officials and corporate representatives to celebrate and raise funds for the Colorado Symphony’s musicians. The evening includes a cocktail hour, silent auction, live auction, dinner, concert, dancing, after-dinner party, and the presentation of the esteemed Margaret Phipps Award given in acknowledgment of longstanding contributions and service to the Colorado Symphony and the arts community. Check out Westword and Blacktie Colorado for coverage of last year’s event!
